Winter 2011/2012

It’s a New Year, meaning…New Places and Things to Check Out!

FACEBOOK! Don’t shy away just yet!

According to Quantcast.com, in 2010 and 2011 the largest age group on Facebook was 18 – 34 years old. However with further research on other Facebook demographics, we learned that baby boomers and adults over 55 are now the fastest growing users on Facebook. Townsend Retirement Specialists has created a Facebook page in hopes that you will check it out and use it to stay up to date on all our news and events. You don’t have to sign up for an account, just use this link to access our page!

Protect Your Credit Card

A client received a YouTube email regarding the “shoplifting” of credit card information. The video clip shows a sleeve you can put your credit cards in which makes it impossible for card information to be lifted electronically. Please check all your credit cards for the RFID symbol (similar to an audio symbol).

Please visit this web address.

You can also visit www.idstronghold.com to get more information. If you have an RFID credit card, please call the Townsend Retirement Specialists office at 303.452.5986 and we will send you a FREE credit card protective sleeve.

New Website!!!

Still the same www.townsendretirement.com but with a new look! We will be sending out an email once we launch the new site — so keep checking back! Also if you’re still working, make sure that you’re signed up for the 401(k) Advantage.

Alzheimer’s Eye Test

Count every “F” in the following text (take your time, there is no joke behind this): Finished files are the result of years of scientific study combined with the experience of years…

How many “Fs” do you count? Wrong, there are 6 — no joke. Read it again. Really, go back and try to find the 6 “Fs.” The brain cannot process “of.” Incredible or what? Go back and look again!

Anyone who counts all 6 “Fs” on the first go is a genius. For 100 Awesome Anti-Aging Brain Games from Masters of Healthcare visit: www.tinyurl.com/kpxpcw.
